SESSION 1 – UNDERSTANDING IMPAIRMENT

Presented by PJ Barclay and Wade Carson, Impirica, Inc.

In this presentation, PJ Barclay and Wade Carson will dive into using scalable IoT-enabled cognitive testing to measure impairment risk in workplaces.
  • Discuss the practical use, and importance of a performance-based approach to measuring impairment risk, underscoring its utility in pinpointing risks within teams.

PJ Barclay, president and CEO of Impirica Inc., leads groundbreaking neuro-centric fitness for duty solutions, blending cutting-edge technology with cognitive science. Wade Carson has over 25 years of experience in the tech sector, specializing in product management and market adoption of disruptive emerging technologies. His career is marked by his ability to deliver passion filled presentations to large audiences and pitch innovative solutions to major funds and venture capitalists.


Carson's experience extends into safety tech, where he has successfully navigated product fit across end users, customers, regulators and standards committees. He excels in requirements elicitation, go-to-market strategy planning and product positioning. His collaborative approach with cross-functional teams and focus on customer retention have significantly reduced churn rates.


SESSION 2 – CARRIER COMPLIANCE CHALLENGES
Moderated by Mike Brust, Arkansas Trucking Association


Mike Brust will moderate a discussion amongst safety executives on compliance and management challenges including driver orientation, employment verification, hours of service, safety incentives, drug and alcohol testing and reporting and more.

Mike Brust has over 25 years in the trucking industry in the safety and loss prevention space. In his current role with the Arkansas Trucking Association, Brust assists with the Arkansas Trucking Association’s Self Insurers’ Fund for workers compensation, conducts mock DOT and OSHA audits and performs certifications for both forklifts and hazardous material. He is also a resource for carriers with DOT or OSHA regulation questions, and he is a certified NATMI instructor.
