Session 1: CVSA Tools for Drivers and Technicians

Presented by Jeremy Disbrow, Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance

This session will focus on the CVSA tools that are available to drivers, safety managers and technicians. Roadside Inspection Specialist Jeremy Disbrow will review operational policies, inspection bulletins, DataQ filing procedures and additional guidance that can be used to better understand the inspection process, comply with federal regulations and equip managers with the tools necessary to successfully challenge incorrect violations.

Disbrow will also provide information on recent changes to enforcement guidance documents that will assist with regulatory compliance and avoid surprises during roadside inspections. 

Jeremy Disbrow joined CVSA in January 2023 with 25 years of experience as a police officer and paramedic. Prior to joining CVSA, he served as an Arizona state trooper for 20 years, with an extensive focus on commercial motor vehicle safety, enforcement, outreach and training. Disbrow was Arizona’s MCSAP training coordinator for seven years, where he developed statewide training curriculum and instructed more than 5,000 hours of courses throughout the U.S. He served as the CVSA chairman for CVSA North American Cargo Securement Harmonization Forum, as well as vice president of CVSA’s Region IV membership. Disbrow was a certified master instructor where he instructed NAS Part A, NAS Part B, passenger-carrier vehicle, instructor development, master instructor development, electronic logging devices and electronic monitoring and mapping technology courses.

Session 2: Arkansas Technician Championship Committee Meeting & Arkansas Truck Driving Championship Committee Meeting

Whether a seasoned championship veteran or you're getting involved for the very first time, stay for the championship committee meeting to coordinate plans for competition stations, volunteer organization and equipment lending opportunities to support the Super Bowl of Safety in the state. 

Council Attendance Policy

In order to provide proper accommodations, we must guarantee a headcount in advance.

For ATA members who submit meeting registration by the June 9 deadline and attend, there is no fee. ATA members who attend without registering or register but do not attend will be charged $25. Out of courtesy, if you decide to attend after the registration deadline, please contact ATA. We welcome guests and non-members to Council meetings for $50.
