Register for the second quarter joint meeting of the Arkansas Trucking Association Maintenance & Technology Council and Safety Management Council on Tuesday, June 9 at 10:30 am at J.B. Hunt Training & Technology Center, 215 J.B. Hunt Corporate Dr., Lowell, AR 72745.

Level 1 Inspection Overview & Common Violations

Presented by: Lieutenant Tim Gushing, Arkansas Highway Police

Arkansas Highway Police 1st Lieutenant Timothy Gushing will discuss Level 1 roadside inspections and recent  common violations seen by law enforcement. After lunch, Lt. Gushing will answer questions and lead attendees outside to demonstrate an inspection on the Arkansas Road Team's official trailer.

A member of the Arkansas Road Team will assist Lt. Gushing in the demonstration. Through visits to schools and events around the state, the Arkansas Road Team delivers their Share the Road program with hands-on illustrations and demonstrations on safe-driving best practices.

These industry professionals are available for appearances at no cost, schedule permitting, for Share the Road presentations and other educational events and promotions.

 Arkansas Technician Championship Committee Meeting & Arkansas Truck Driving Championship Committee Meeting

After a networking lunch, the championship committees will meet to prepare for the return of the Arkansas Trucking Championship.

Council Attendance Policy

In order to provide proper accommodations, we must guarantee a headcount in advance.

For ATA members who submit meeting registration by the June 1 deadline and attend, there is no fee. ATA members who attend without registering or register but do not attend will be charged $25. Out of courtesy, if you decide to attend after the registration deadline, please contact ATA. We welcome guests and non-members to Council meetings for $50.
