Meet the Trainer:
Mike Brust grew up around trucking, his dad was a truck driver and he holds a class A CDL. Brust has a degree in Transportation & Logistics from the University of Arkansas and has over 25 years in the trucking industry. His prior experience includes more than 20 years at FedEx Freight as their corporate safety manager, 2 years as the director of safety for Southern Refrigerated Transport and 3 years working for Protective Insurance performing safety and loss prevention services.
In his current role as director of safety and loss prevention with the Arkansas Trucking Association, Brust assists with the ATA Self Insurers’ Fund for workers compensation, conducts mock DOT & OSHA audits, and performs certifications for both forklifts and hazardous material as well as answering questions pertaining to DOT and OSHA regulations. Brust is a NATMI Certified Director of Safety, Certified Driver Trainer and an Approved Professional Safety Source for the Arkansas Workers Compensation Commission along with being a certified NATMI instructor.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Registration fees will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received in writing by the Arkansas Trucking Association, getinfo@arkansastrucking.com, no later than the close of business, May 14, with a 3% cancellation fee applied. No refunds will otherwise be made.
